Delete your account & data
TBRly: Your Aesthetic Reading Companion
You can permanently delete your TBRly account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what (if anything) we keep.
If you can sign in
The fastest way is from your account settings. Sign in, then go to Settings → Delete Account.
Cancel your subscription first
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active TBRly Premium subscription. If you have a Monthly or Yearly plan, please cancel it via the Stripe billing portal before requesting deletion — otherwise you may continue to be billed.
Manage subscription on Stripe ↗If you can't sign in
Submit the form below with the email address you used for TBRly. We'll verify the request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (display name, avatar, theme, preferences)
- Your library, wishlist, DNF list, reviews, ratings, notes, and tags
- Your series, challenges, reading progress, and goals
- Your saved books, scan history, and search history
- Your authentication record (email, password hash, OAuth links)
What we may retain
- Anonymised, aggregated usage logs that cannot be linked back to you (kept for service health and abuse prevention).
- Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons (for example, payment receipts), retained only for the period required by law.
- Email suppression entries (so we never email you again after deletion) — these contain only your email address.
Timing
Deletions requested from Settings are processed immediately. Requests submitted via this form are processed within 30 days of receipt. After deletion, recovery is not possible.
