Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use TBRly. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity on your account.

2. Acceptable use

• Don't upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
• Don't attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

3. Premium subscription

Premium subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Refunds are at our discretion and governed by Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

4. Content ownership

Your library and notes belong to you. Book metadata is sourced from third-party providers (Google Books, Open Library) and remains subject to their respective terms.

5. Camera access

This app requires camera access to scan your physical book covers using OCR. The camera is only used when you choose to scan a book, and captured images are processed to extract title and author information. We do not use your camera for any other purpose.

6. Your data

We collect the information needed to run your account and library — such as your email, profile details, the books and notes you save, and basic usage data to keep the app working well. Your data is used only to provide and improve TBRly. We never sell it, and we only share it with the service providers required to operate the app (for example, hosting, payments, and AI text recognition). For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer

TBRly is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we make no warranties beyond those required by law.
